What is your turnaround time?
Our turnaround time for Real Estate photography is 48 hours, however, if you require the images back urgently to meet deadlines we are happy to do this within 24 hours but you will need to advise us in advance in order that we can prioritise the job as urgent.
For typical Real Estate Video work the Turnaround time is between 1-3 Days
Is there a Cancellation Fee?
For general real estate work that does not require outside area travel we do not charge any fee for cancellation, however, if the photographer actually turns up at the property and, through no fault of (Urban Image Real Estate and Architectural Media) and is unable to complete the photoshoot, then a callout fee of $100 will apply.
What should I do to prepare for the photographer in advance?
The less cluttered the images are, the better they look so, if possible, clearing items from kitchen bench tops, bathroom vanities, showers, etc. and putting personal items out of sight will greatly enhance your photography and assist the photographer. Pet bowls and litter trays, and outside, garden hoses, garden implements, pool equipment etc. are best out of sight.
Can items be removed from the images by photoshopping?
Yes, our normal post processing will ensure that your image is lightened, views from windows included and any unwanted items are removed from the image. However, please note that there is a time factor involved in removing items which is why the photographer usually prefers to remove the clutter prior to taking the photograph. In some cases, dependant on the background and whether matching patterns is required, it can be extremely difficult and time consuming to remove items in which case an additional charge may be incurred if removal is requested by the client after the photography has been completed.
If the photographer is instructed to carry out the job when the weather is inclement due to deadlines will an additional fee be charged if a second visit to the property is requested in fine weather?
Not always, however (Urban Image Real Estate and Architectural Media) reserves the right to charge an additional fee (up to and including the correct price for the service) given that the photographer would otherwise be at a paying job in the time taken to reshoot your property.
In order to provide the best possible images to its clients (Urban Image Real Estate and Architectural Media) always prefers to shoot property when the sun is shining. While we are able to drop in a blue sky, it is impossible for the images to reflect the sunlight when it is absent from the photo and they can consequently appear dull and lacklustre.
